    It’s because the relative intensity is much harder even with the same RIR. Almost anybody can take a set of flat chest press to failure, machine or otherwise. Almost nobody takes a set of leg press or hack squats to failure. It hurts.

    RIP legend. Anytime I have an inkling of a question on form or potential tips to improve a lift for myself, I still come back to this man's channel. Still run his programs.     My maternal grandfather was a man who worked construction until he no longer could work, using a shovel and obviously his physical strength. He was a muscular man. But super big, but for a man of about 5'8" inch tall and about 175lb is was muscular. Besides what he did for a living I never saw him eating the trash food most people eat today.
